Created transom window over bathroom entrance door using antique family heirloom stained glass window; maple cabinets, with “soft closures” on all cabinet doors and drawers; built-in linen closet, using matching free-standing maple cabinet, inserted into formerly blank wall space; base end cabinets have return toe kicks, with trim doors on sides to compliment functional doors on front; additional electrical outlets located inside center cabinet between his and her sinks, closet lights, wall sconces, exhaust fan, air-jet bathtub, and heat pump for floor, are all on individual circuits; granite capped wall-hiding commode; skylight centralized over room; removed outside exit door and installed a “his” closet in area to mimic the “hers” closet; travertine and natural stone throughout; custom tile design work in shower using homeowners’ input; granite countertops; heated flooring, shower flooring, shower seat, and ledge surrounding air-jet bathtub; high volume/low noise bath exhaust fan in skylight tunnel; instant hot water at all fixtures; separate circuits for lighting and outlets.

Marble floors in foyer, main hall, kitchen, home office, both baths. Bath 1 features: tub removed to install walk-in shower; hand-cut/hand-pieced marble floor in shower to create functional and attractive pattern, but still use existing underlying drain slope; marble walls, countertop, seat, accessory alcoves in shower and vanity areas, and threshold; frameless shower doors. Bath 2 features: hand-cut/hand-pieced marble floor in shower; marble walls, floors, countertop, accessory alcoves in shower and vanity areas, and threshold; frameless shower doors.

Porcelain/Travertine/natural stone, with foil-backed glass accent shower tile; fixtures are all brushed nickel; instant-on hot water at all fixtures; custom shampoo/soap niche; composite Americast tub, which holds hot water longer than standard iron, and finish is more durable; vanity has bottom drawer under sink for better storage; laundry chute in cabinet near door; granite countertop, with 8” backsplash; porcelain under-mounted sink; comfort-height elongated bowl toilet with wider than normal alcove; lights are on their own circuit, and are separate from the outlets; floor matches porcelain wall tile in shower.
